Can Your Brain Really Relieve Back Pain and Suffering, Help You to Heal and Regain Strength?

The principle seems simple enough: Your subconscious mind already controls about 95% of your bodily functions. So what if you can tell your subconscious to work on a specific area to increase certain cells, hormones, regain strength and improve other bodily functions to your advantage? Of course the trick is, how do you do that and how does it work?

Many believe this is possible to achieve results by making affirmations daily, keeping a positive attitude, and of course employing some type of therapy. I believe that also to some extent, but having tried daily affirmations and several therapies, including chiropractic therapy, massage therapy, various supportive supplements, etc. for over a year with only very limited results, I was ready for something a little more powerful (and less expensive).

My focus was on relieving pain, and improving the strength and muscles in my upper body, specifically my neck, back and arms which was extremely weak and painful due to a serious injury and degenerative condition that left me unable to live normally and certainly prevented me from exercising, etc.

Now, about a year ago, if you told me that I would be able to recover from the pain and weakness I had, just by watching an online presentation, I would have thought it a little far-fetched to say the least. However, when you get to a certain point, you are willing to look into different programs and/or therapies with the hopes of having some success in improving your condition.

As it turns out, mind technology is evolving in amazing ways and certain technologies have been developed that do allow you to access your subconscious in a way that you would not normally be able to do - and this has nothing to do with hypnotism or subliminal messages, etc. There is a technology available today that goes well beyond simply the power of suggestion.

When I discovered this new technology, called R.D.T. (Rapid Data Transfer) and after I researched the testimonials and the technology itself, I found that using this advanced mind technology program presented a real possibility in improving my situation. It was certainly worth a try. Maybe I had finally found an answer that would help me regain some of my health and relieve my painful condition.

One of the ways this technology works is by 'cueing' your subconscious mind to increase certain functions and the production of your own body's resources. For instance, increasing your own natural human growth hormone, which helps to improve tissue re-growth and healing. In addition, the program also increases your muscle strength and recovery time.

The program also works by instructing the subconscious to increase your own stem cell production which relieves inflammation and also speeds healing. It balances hormones, increases energy, improve absorption of DHEA, and increases chromium picolinate in your system.

All of these 'instructions' and 'cues' are delivered to your subconscious while you watch a simple, 4 to 14 minute presentation online (the length of time it takes to view the presentation depends on what instructions you choose for your program), all in the comfort of your own home. You simply watch the online presentation on your computer at least once per week to get results. It is this powerful combination of instructions, on a direct physical level (through your subconscious of all things!) that actually gets results.

Within 60 days of using the program, I had virtually eliminated pain and muscle spasms, and if I did encounter any due to over-exertion, the recovery time was very short. I also vastly improved the amount of tone muscle throughout my entire body. This was especially noticeable in my upper body and biceps, which were my weakest areas due to diagnosed (MRI-verified) 2 herniated discs and moderate degeneration in my neck and upper thoracic spine, plus lower lumbar injury due to a car accident. I have been extremely pleased with the results, and amazed that this type of technology is available for anyone, in any country, in any language, to use.

So, can your brain (subconscious) really relieve back pain and suffering, help you to heal and regain strength? It can -- and thousands of people throughout the world use it every day! For me, the this type of advanced technology program provided the ultimate means to achieve my pain relief, speed healing and regain muscle tone and strength, which I would have otherwise been unable to achieve in a short period of time (if ever). This form of advanced technology is certainly the powerful alternative I was looking for, and has proven to help thousands of others.

Relieve Back Pain Core Strength Training

There are several methods that can relieve back pains. The most beneficial method to both general health and back pain alike is core strength training. Since core strength training involves physical activity, it is a natural way to improve the way your body carries itself. Back pain problems are usually the cause of improper posture which in turn disrupts the alignment of the spinal bones.

Core strength training as its name implies involves specific training that strengthens the core of the human body that is the muscles that are responsible for holding the body upright. The core is that area of the body that starts from the limbs and ends below the chest. This includes mainly the glutei and abdominal muscles.

Having strong abdominal muscles is a key element in the support of the back structure as it holds the back in a way that it assumes a better posture. This benefit mainly derives from the fact that strong abdominal muscles prevent excessive pressure from becoming the sole responsibility of the back muscle and nerves. Consequently, instead of succumbing to the enormous pressure caused by a weak core system, the back muscles will be better equipped to erect the body in a comfortable position without damaging the spine, thereby preventing back pains. Exercising the gluteus area will ensure the core system of the body is stable. Therefore, exercising this area is necessary for a fully functioning core system. There are various core strength training techniques that a person suffering from back pain can easily adapt to their lifestyles. These include, sits ups, crunches, Pilates and yoga among others. A few seconds of knee to chest exercises a day are one of the simplest exercises that people can do from home. Lying on the floor pull your knee towards your chest, hold for 5 seconds and release. Do the same on the other knee. Repeat for a number of times. This exercise helps to relax the spine disc and thus releases the nerves of the back from the unnecessary pressure which is caused by the closing of the spine disc.

Core strength training is a proven efficient method that generates long term benefits as opposed to temporary back pain relieve when treating the pain with over the counter painkiller medicine. Moreover, core strength training is a cheap equipment free therapy as it mostly depends on using the weight of your body.

Easy Posture Exercises to Lose the Aches and Relieve Back Pain

These posture exercises are worth doing regularly. Each works to strengthen neck, shoulder, core and leg muscles, and is a form of isometric exercise.

Isometric exercises are those in which the muscle's length does not change, such as when you push against an immovable object or hold a position against some form of resistance-such as a rubber cord or even the force of gravity.

They build joint and muscle strength at the point at which the muscle and joint are held.

Face a corner and place your hands flat against each wall. Lean forward, hold, then push back upright. Repeat 10 times.
To help remedy protruding buttocks and stomach, pull your shoulders back while tilting your pelvis forward and tightening your stomach muscles. Hold for 5 seconds, then repeat 10 times.
While laying on your stomach, lift one arm several inches from the floor while pressing your hips into the floor. Hold for 5-10 seconds, then repeat with the other arm. As you gain more strength, try starting with your arm stretched above your head and slowly bring it down to below your waist in an arc.
Repeat the previous exercise, but this time with each leg.
Once again, do this same exercise, but with your right arm and left leg at the same time; then switch. Remember to repeat several times, increasing the reps as you feel comfortable.
Lie on your back on the floor with your legs bent and feet flat on the floor. Slowly push the small of your back against the floor and hold for 10 seconds. Repeat 5 times, and increase reps as you gain strength.
Lie on your stomach on the floor, with your shoulders pressed against the floor. Place your chin on the floor and then lift your head until you are looking ahead. Hold for 3-5 seconds. Do not lift your shoulders from the floor as you lift your head, or your neck muscles will not get the full benefit. Now do the same head lift with your head turned to the right, and then with it turned to the left. Repeat 3-5 times.

How To Relieve Back Pain With The Homedics Shiatsu Massager 500

It was suggested to me by my massage therapist that I use a massaging cushion in order to complement his work on the herniated disk that I had. In order to follow this direction, I now use the SBM 500H massaging cushion everyday and I must say that it is doing wonders for me. I should mention that before this I have never used any other massaging device except those old massagers which look somewhat like an oversized flashlight. I use the Homedics SBM 500H massager now and have been for quite some time and I'm sure that I can give an opinion on the device and its features now.

You can secure it to some chair which you use everyday, for example, I have it secured to my office chair since I can recline back in it peacefully. The massage cushion has its own comfortable and durable cover which helps a lot as well.

The SBM 500H consists of two sets of rollers with two rollers each out of which one set covers almost two thirds of the back and the other two cover the upper part of the back and the shoulders. The best thing about this for me and for most people is that most of the tension that we have is carried in our shoulders and especially when the unit is put on the Shiatsu mode, the massage is highly vigorous and deep and provides quick relief.

The rollers can be paused at places where they are most required but after extensive use, the back often becomes numb which could be a sign of improved circulation in the back. The best feature if you ask me though is the heat function. The relief provided by the heat function is amazing and almost makes me more agile and gives a new boost of energy in a way. It doesn't get too warm either and is my favourite feature by far.

I find it very easy to fall asleep on the SBM 500H cushion even at times when I don't want to and have to stay awake. I suggest you gift this to one of your friends with back troubles as a Christmas or birthday present.

5 Ways To Relieve Back Pain At Home

To learn how to relieve low back pain at home, it is important to know what you can do and cannot do with your body. Back pain can be caused by a number of ways including prolonged sitting or standing, ill-fitting shoes, and poor walking posture. The key here is not to over extend your body so every tip must be accomplished with deliberate consideration.

Keep reasonably active

One of the simplest and easiest back pain remedies at home is to keep moving. The last thing that you would want to do is hit the sack. Bed rest may only serve to aggravate the condition as laying on bed puts more stress on your already bad back. What you should do is limber up and move about as these warm and strengthen the sore muscles. Walk around the house, do chores, just make sure not to do heavy lifting, bend too far or make any sudden movement.

Learn Pilates

If you want to learn how to relieve low back pain, learn Pilates. Pilates helps to relieve your discomfort and may even prevent a recurrence as it strengthens the core muscles that support the back. Based on the principle that the body should be structurally balanced to function at the optimum level, the gentle stretching exercises and posture enhancing movements of Pilates align the body parts so that balance is achieved.

Self massage

Self massage is one of the recommended back pain remedies at home. This home relief suggestion is easier than you think, and requires only tennis balls and a thin mattress. Lay your back on the mattress, with knees bent and feet flat on the ground slip a tennis ball under your back then hold it there for a few seconds. Move the ball to a new area then hold again. If you want a more "thorough" massage, put two tennis balls inside a sock or stockings, and follow the same instructions as above.

Seat Therapy

You can do this simple treatment at home. You need a chair with back rest and a small rubber ball. Sit on the chair with your spine lengthen, and back straight and knees together with feet flat on the floor. Sit on rubber ball on your tailbone and row left to right. In this position, you are forced to sit up straight and lengthen your spine, stretching your back. Remove the ball after 5 minutes and rest.

Sit back and relax

Some conditions are merely symptoms of stress. This method in fact is the easiest to do. In fact, you are literally asked to do nothing. So for a day or two, disconnect the phones, stay offline, grab a book and play soothing music. You will feel better once your stress level goes down.

These 5 simple ways to relieve back pain at home are only for minor conditions. Most cases such nature go away after a few days. But if the discomfort is severe and lasts indefinitely, it is best that you consult a specialist and perform some back pain relief exercises.

Laser Treatment Relieves Back Pain

Class IV laser treatment, an FDA-approved remedy for back pain, wound care and inflammation, is receiving a widespread following as doctors and patients alike begin to see the therapeutic effects they have to offer. Injuries that lead to neck, muscle and back pain result in damaged cells that lead to pain and discomfort.

Class IV laser technology speeds the healing process by supplying energy to the damaged cells in the form of photons, increasing the output of ATP by the cells, which is the fuel that cells need to repair and restore themselves. The benefits of laser treatment can include faster wound healing, a reduction in chronic pain and inflammation, increased blood supply, and an increase in the speed of tissue repair.

Tissue healing, improved circulation and improved metabolism are common physiologic effects of laser treatment, sometimes offering fast, immediate relief. Lasers also help to reduce inflammation and pain associated with injuries and the after effects of significant surgical treatment.

Traditionally, most clinics use Class III lasers, also known as cold quartz or low level lasers, which barely penetrate the surface of the skin. The Class IV laser, however, is able to penetrate over an inch in skin and muscle tissue, repairing damaged and inflamed tissue and relieving back pain quickly and effectively.

Class IV lasers can be dangerous if they are not handled by a qualified, experienced physician. Class IV lasers can burn the skin when used improperly and can cause extensive eye damage and should not be used directly on the eyes.
