How Simple Yoga Circular Stretches Can Help Relieve Back Pain


If you are looking for an effective yet easy way to relieve back pain, you should look no further than the simple yoga circular stretches. These are special yoga stretches that you have to practice in a circular motion. However, circular motion should not be confused with twisting motion. These yoga poses do not only require you to twist your body in a specific way but also to stretch downward and upward and from side to side. Step I

Lie down with your back on the floor. Make sure that your arms are lying loosely at your sides and legs are stretched out straight. Step II

Step IV

Now, repeat the same process with your left leg. Lift it and move it into large circular paths in clockwise direction, as you did with the right leg. Complete 10 rotations with your left leg as well.

Step V

Bring your left leg back down to the floor and relax - take a slow and deep breathe for a few moments.

Step VI

Now, lift your right leg again, but this time, you have to move it in large circular paths in clockwise direction. After completing ten rotations, bring it back down and relax. Now, lift your left leg and move it into anticlockwise circular motions. It means you have to repeat step II to step V, but this time, you have to move the legs in the opposite direction.

The last step of the yoga circular stretches to relieve back pain is to relax. The best way to relax is to breathe slowly and deeply.
